Item was packaged very well with no visible damage to the box, but the base arrived dented. Which leads me to believe that it was shipped damaged from the start. The dimmr switch is basically useless. It goes from very dim to max brightness. There is no in between. So rotating the knob feels like a waste of time. And while the bulb itself is beautiful to look at, when turned on, its so lackluster. The wall doesnt light up with a majestic design as you would hope. Its not much different than lighting up a regular bulb, just with a tint of color to it. Unfortunately I regret spending my money. Even more so splurging for the “fancy” base
