Nice but is it worth it?

The material and custruction is nice. It's breathable and I didn't even notice the neck guard there when wearing it. Is it worth the price? I'm not sure, maybe if it was $99 it totally would be for peace of mind but otherwise I still think that it's expensive for what it is. My wife bought it as a safety net since I'm new to hockey otherwise we probably wouldn't have purchased it.

Very durable cut resistant layering, and the base layer is so much more breathable than the competitors
