I really love this mat. The grip definitely improves with water sprayed on it, and do know that it evaporates, so you'll need to spray every so often to keep it grippy. Nonetheless, I love this non-toxic alternative, and the designs are breathtaking. I am so pleased and have used my mat on sunny and rainy days. It would be a great addition to your home. I certainly do not regret my purchase.
