Edge of entire glass insert damaged

While the product is cool and overall done well, the edge of the glass insert is damaged around the entire frame. It’s like the frame itself scratched or marked the whole edge of the glass. I tried scrubbing thinking it was just some glue from the protective film but it’s not coming off.
