Heartthrob Metallic Red HTPLA

Fresh out of the box, the filament experienced some mild popping during the initial purge, indicating moisture. After a couple of failed starts to the print, the filament finally mellowed out and printed fine. This has become a common occurrence with all my HTPLA rolls across all my printers. I've gotten into the habit of running a quick sacrificial print before starting any new print job to purge the first layer of moisture from the roll. Otherwise, this HTPLA is amazing. I had a Voxel print in my trunk along with an HTPLA print of the same file. After a particularly hot day, the Voxel print warped and deformed, but the HTPLA print is as beautiful and strong as ever! Definitely worth the mild inconvenience of getting the rolls to behave.
