The Britannia Coat (W)

I love that this coat can pull off formal and casual so effortlessly - the wool has a nice plush loft that isn't stiff or fussy. The fit is as described using the guide. I took off one star because the nylon lining is a bit crinkly-sounding; it's nice that Anian is making the 2027 version with a cotton lining (but then the trade-off will be that it won't slip against your inner wear as well).

Bought for my wife. She loves the style, comfort, and the Wilderness colour. Would be nice if the upper body had a little more room for those not built like a twig. Otherwise a winner all the way around.

The coat is as warm and lovely as I hoped it would be; I had been wanting to buy an Anian piece for a while and was excited to snag one on sale. I have just one piece of constructive feedback: took measurements of myself and compared them with your sizing chart to make sure I got the right size jacket. As expected, the shoulders and chest fit perfectly over a sweater. Unfortunately the coat is a little tight across the hips and checking back I realized a hip measurement is not included in your sizing chart. I highly recommend adding it so that wider-hipped folks like myself know if we ought to size up!
