Retro Playmate Half Gallon Jug

Every single one of these that we've bought has broken on the tip of the straw part. It's not even like we are rough with them, and the amount of time it takes for it to break varies between each bottle. It just seems like the plastic isn't made well or is potentially weak in design? Just sucks because now we have a couple of lids that we can't use.

Love the retro memories, literally brings back childhood memories from over 50 years ago!! Used to carry a 1/2 gallon jug of water when i walked beans as a teenager.
