Love the shoes, difficulty with sizing

I really love the shoes I got but I had already returned due to poor sizing once so I kept the second pair I got and they are far too tight to wear enjoyably. First I ordered based on my regular size, and they were huge. Then I reordered based on my measured size and they’re far too tight. By process of elimination I know my size for next time but the price point is high so that I’ll have to suffer through a poor fit until I can afford a replacement since I’ve scuffed the soles.
