Nearly Perfect!

This battery module is fantastic! I put it in a stock GBA (after trimming the battery compartment shell) and it works incredibly well. NiMH AAs would only last a few hours before dying unexpectedly. The LiPo with this pack lasted me a week of heavy play before dying. I only have two small complaints: first, the spring contact forces the pack up, so it often ends up putting pressure on the battery door and causing the door to raise up slightly. This is not really a practical issue, just something that I notice. Second, the charging circuitry maintains a consistent 3.3v output voltage regardless of the state of the battery. This is great for the gameboy, but means the GBA's built-in battery-life monitor (green indicator turning red) doesn't give you any warning that the battery is low. You can work around that by simply plugging it in to charge every now and then.

Great Battery pack for the price. Very stable battery life. Only qualms are to slight trim the highspeedido shells to fit it in snuggly.
