Poppies on Black - Latch Hook Pillow Kit

To be clear, the pattern is very nice and the thread seems to be good quality. The problem is the pillow case backing. I have sensory sensitivities. The backing is so soft that it physically hurts to touch, to the point where I've had to buy gloves so I can make the project. I wish it was just a plain cotton or canvas or something. Or being able to choose the fabric of the backing. My mother compared the texture to an 80s velour tracksuit. It means that I can't keep any of the pillowcases I make. I'll have to rip the canvas off and stitch it to a different backing to do that.

Again you folks provide reasonably quick shipping with a wonderful product!
