Plum & Warbler Cotton Kimono Robe — Short Larger Size

Beautiful!

I love my new robe and feel so good in it! The 100% cotton fabric is crisp and cool for the summer humidity and heat where I live, and the cherry blossom pattern is so pretty. The pocket is big enough for my phone and the occasional tissue. I like to have shorter sleeves so that they're not getting wet when washing my breakfast dishes, and I like side loops for the waist sash so that after hanging it up, I can leave it ready for the next use without the extra step of having to hang the sash around the top of the coat-hanger. So, I decided that because I love this robe so much, I thought it was worth cutting some length off the sleeves (about where the fold was when it first arrived), rehemming them, and using the off-cuts to create side loops at the waist. A simple sewing job (for me). Loving it!
