Beware of paint chips

As others have indicated, it is a common occurrence that this product arrives with paint chips, despite the packaging and shipping being flawless. Fortunately Andrew was kind enough to offer some store credits for my disappointment. I suggest you have some matte black paint ready to fill in these spots. Otherwise, the product is well made and makes the job alot easier.

Great but Some Issues.

This thing is really great and I do recommend it because it makes cleaning and coating rims and tires so much easier BUT there are some issues. First off, it’s poorly packaged by Maxshine. I too got it with chipped paint. Secondly, the finish on the plates themselves is kinda meh. Bunch of chalky marks on everything. An indication of poor quality powder coat. I will need to get the plates stripped and re powder coated to avoid rusting. If you’re interested in this product I would put some money aside to get it re powder coated. Really poor QCC on Maxshines part. I am hesitant to buy their products in the future.

Bad quality control missing paint

UPS delivered it in perfect shape. The contents was well wrapped but once everything was out, I noticed missing black paint around the metal edges. Now I’ll have to touch it up so it doesn’t rust which is disappointing. The open ended wrench is only good for tightening the roller inner pieces and there’s no other wrenches to tighten the nuts. The rollers don’t spin freely maybe by design? It seems sturdy for smaller car wheels but I’m not too sure how it will hold up with large truck tires. Time will tell how it holds up.
