I try and get better with every grow. This last time I read to use starter soil, surrounded by my hot soil so the roots can grow into the hot soil. My research lead me to purchase the Biostart 365.
A little bit of a learning curve for me, it retains water so well. Maybe it's me, but it seems to be help control stretching. Seedlings are pretty green and thick. As a hobbyist, the bag will last a while too, so in terms of value and results, well worth the investment. It's starter soil and it looks like it's going to send the seedlings into veg very happy.
I will definitely begetting another bag when this one runs out.
