When I found this combo gate and coupling I knew it was perfect - space saving and price saving, Best news, it showed up NEXT DAY by noon for $3.95 shipping (we are in same state) so thats why - but it just doubled down why I spend my money here.

Gate valve selection great

Great gate valve selection, ordered to version that would attach directly to heater, so one less fitting required in my limited space. Only downside was had to buy separate split nut after I found my original had shrunk and would not tighten on new valve threads.

valve function

was very disappointed that the 2 inch gasket didn't fit like it should have,it did not sit in the grove flush. Had to heat it with a heat gun to stretch gasket to fit. It also was a struggle getting the splitnut for the heater to grab correctly to tighten
