3-Hole (3 Cords) Cording Foot for 9mm Janome Machines

I like to try different techniques to embellish the garments I sew. Janome makes 2 different versions of this foot for 9mm machines (e.g. Continental M6, M7, M8, M17). This one is the 3-way cording foot which is better suited for cording of sizes 2mm - 3mm. You could use any type of cord such as macramé cord, provided is the correct thickness. You will need to experiment with different widths & lengths of your stitch to get the exact stich pattern that works with the cording you selected. That's why it's important that you experiment with test versions before you add this embellishment to your final project. In the end it came out looking like I'd sew on some nice trim, but of course it has a "smoother," flatter, much more professional look than tacking on trim.
