Sailor Manyo Fuji - 50ml Bottled Ink

Lovely ink. I would’ve preferred an18-20ml bottle, albeit the 50ml is priced great.

Perfect colour

I love this ink. It flows nicely and looks great on the page for both writing and doodling. I’m very happy with this and look forward to trying others in the Sailor range.

Not so fascinating

I got this ink with very high expectations based on other reviews and posts I’ve seen and the descriptions I’ve read. I was really disappointed when I tried this out last night. It’s a nice, light lavender purple, but I tried it on 4 different types of paper, Tomoe River, Lecthturm1917, Life and Midori. Regardless of pooling, I could not get anything other than either barely legible lavender or darker lavender that could easily be read. Just really bummed. I’ve only found 1 ink that I could get to sheen and that is Organic Studios Nitrogen, which is so smooth, pretty and easily sheens on everything.
