Colonel Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap

Lathers well….

….not spectacular lather, but a good, decent lather. Has a creamy texture and lubricates the skin nicely. This part is subjective, but this doesn’t smell like Bay Rum at all. No bay aroma, no cloves, just a weak, indeterminate smell. Bay rums vary wildly from manufacturer to manufacturer, but this just misses all the notes I was expecting. I wouldn’t buy it again, but the almond soap from the same manufacturer is quite worthwhile.
