Garish colors

I was so excited to find a jigsaw puzzle with a picture of a painting by one of my favorite artists, Gustave Baumann. I was so disappointed with what I received. When I opened the box, I found that the pieces were in bright, garish, neon colors instead of the warm, soft palette one might expect in a painting of a grandma's garden. I will be donating this puzzle - hopefully someplace where they are not familiar with the works of Gustave Baumann.
