The first thing you notice is the sound. At idle it has a deep, low rumble that finally lets the V8 sound like a V8. On the highway it settles down nicely and doesn’t overpower the cabin, which makes it perfect for daily driving or long trips. GX460 dump exhaust

I had read good reviews of the dump exhaust kit for the GX460, so I grabbed one recently as it was on sale. The build quality is great, and installation was a breeze. It sounds awesome on startup, and while cruising in 6th gear, it's quiet. However, I do get lots of resonance on acceleration, and going up a long hill in 4th or 5th gear is pretty tough on my ears. At highway speeds approaching 70 mph, there is a little too much noise for me. It's a great product, but I think it's just too loud for me.
