Good sound protection

The ear muffs do offer good protection from sound but I can not get them to sit comfortably without the strap being over my head. Mainly wanted to try them to wear under a wide brimmed hat so was hoping they would work like in the pic with the strap down at my neck but they just fall off.

Love the earmuffs. They are more soundproof than the standard issue ones l were for work and they match my boots.
