Quite possibly the ultimate modulation pedal
A lot of times when you have a pedal that tries to do a lot of different things all at once, you end up with a handful of sweet spots and a bunch of mess in between. This is far from the case with the T-60. This pedal really does do it all: chorus, flanger, vibrato, lo-fi tape warble, glitchy pitch jumps, and so much more. This thing also has a lush stereo field accessible with a Y-splitter cable. Because it's all based on analog BBD, it tends toward the warmer side but with the depth and flexibility it offers, you can still pull glassy, 80s chorus sounds out of it. There's so much to discover here, with a slight learning curve, but it isn't wildly complex beyond a couple of shift functions that are labeled on the pedal. I also appreciate the ability to tweak the two LFOs, which is something so many guitar pedals neglect. That being said, if you're a "set-and-forget" guitar player, you'll probably feel like the depth of options is wasted on your pedalboard, but in the studio this thing just keeps on giving. Customer service from Demedash Effects is great too. Full disclosure: I had some minor clipping/headroom issues on my unit, but I sent an email to Steve at Demedash and within a couple of days I had a prepaid shipping label to get it fixed up. Highly recommend if you're looking for a highly versatile modulation pedal that can do conventional sounds as well as some more experimental ones!

New favorite. Does exactly what it says.
I was born in 1979, so I'll always have a place in my heart for the gracefully-warped lull of an old video. I'm also enamored with much of the vapor/synthwave music we've been hearing in recent years, but I'm not much of a computer guy; I'm a "dials and levers" guy, so the T-60 won me over in this round. It does a perfect amount of bendy, jittery muck you would need to execute the true feel of that unlabeled tape you found under the radiator. Aside from having the just the right modulation control, it also gives the option to do randomized movements in a rather convincing way. It even seems to add a certain amount of hiss when you set the mix and EQ it the right way. I'm in the habit of using guitar pedals on everything, including keyboards and general post production, and I'm looking forward to over-using this new toy going forward.
