Highly pixelated over USBC/Thunderbolt
This lunar display is a great idea but even running over USB C or thunderbolt it's laggy and Abby moving video pixelates significantly. I talked to their ai bot and they apologise for not saying this way a possibility. I thought this was pretty hilarious and more honest than any human would be. Nonetheless, I wouldn't see this item if I was macfixit, they are usually very thoughtful and get this stuff right. I also found that it only worked in thunderbolt port in the primary machine, which wasn't advertised or in any online support information that I could see. I lost 3 hours trying to make it work, and all for a very pixelated moving image. Very poor. Happy to be corrected but this is what I've experienced so far.

Problem Solved
The Luna Display - USB-C lived up to its promises!
I have successfully been able to use a 2012 iMac 27” as a monitor for a new M4 Mac Air via my local network.
Setting up was a little more complex than suggested but has worked out well in the end. There is no doubt that you pick up a few tricks to improve the efficiency the more you use it.
The speed of transfer is good, with virtually no lag unless WiFi is giving problems.
All in all, buying the Luna Display was a good move.

Luna Display - USB-C (Mac & PC)
Works perfectly with my Mac Mini as primary and my 2017 iMac as secondary. Some YouTube videos suggest that you can then use the iMac drive as an external hard drive, but that didn't work. No big deal. Luna delivered what I purchased it for, so no complaints here!
