Having put a new carpet in the back of my T6 camper van I’d covered up the locating hole for my Fiamma table leg. I purchased this tripod as a work around to save making a hole in the new carpet. The table seems stable enough when attached to the tripod although it is somewhat taller. The advantage is that as it is now a freestanding table it can be moved around in the back of the van or used outside. I may make one small modification and drill a hole in each “foot” to allow me to insert a tent peg for added stability when used outside.

I bought this to enable me to use my campervan table outside and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the size of it. It folds down to a kind of umbrella shape, so easy to store and when the legs are unfolded they are sturdy and long creating a really solid platform for the table, there will be no wobbling over at all! Really really happy with it and the shipping was incredibly fast too!
