New Life

Just purchased 4 x 8.0GB DDR3 1867MHz SO-DIMM 204 Pin RAM for my 2015 iMac. It previously had 8.0 GB with a slightly slower RAM. The change was dramatic. I can run so many applications at once and have lightening speed. Easy to fit . So delighted. Definitely would recommend Macfixit to anyone involved with MACs

Don't trust no-name RAM

I bought "1867MHz" DDR3 RAM from a different store only to find that it was in fact 1866MHz. This caused my iMac to slow down to the highest common speed for all RAM modules which was 1600MHz--a noticeable performance hit. I have since replaced that RAM with the modules from Macfixit and now I'm running 32GB at full 1867MHz which has definitely improved the boot and load times. Well worth the money.

Very Happy RAM Upgrader

I have a late 2015 iMac which only had 4GB of RAM and wasn’t coping well with too manny apps running. Decided to upgrade to 4 x 8GB OWC RAM Modules giving the old girl much more grunt with 32 GB of RAM. The transition was seamless and easy to do through the back hatch. Now running multiple high memory usage apps in a canter and am very pleased with the result.
