Woman's Soft Cotton Boy Short

I like the fact that the material is cotton and the boxers have a nice fit. I am generally a medium but ordered large in the event of shrinkage since as the material is modal/cotton. However, I find the waistbands are way too constricting- tight. They need to have something more delicate, looser, comfortable. I have red bands around my waistline and again, I am a medium and I ordered large. So bery disappointing. Also ordered the high rise leg briefs and the waist is constrictive and around the thighs.
