Best these to do is get this at same time as the machine has the one that come with it is way too short and make hard work of stairs, I do think the 7m hose should come as standard, even if charging a little bit more, definitely worth the extra investment as makes cleaning 100× easier.

With the price it was not something I started with but after dragging the Aquarius Hot 2800 in and out of room and stairs I decided to give it a go, what an upgrade. I can now go in and out of rooms without the constant battle or moving the machine, Stairs are much better as I can go from top to bottom with ease If you order the Aquarius Hot 2800 do your self a favour and order the extended hose, You will thank me later
