Overall Best Tshirt

In the quest to find the perfect tshirt for my preferences and body type, I've tried a number of options. These include tees from Taylor Stitch and two different styles from Buck Mason, among others. Overall, I prefer the Essential Tee from Tomorrow's Laundry over anything I've tried. For me, the medium-weight fabric is perfect; it's substantial enough to provide good structure and drape and allow it to be worn without layers . But since it's not a heavyweight, it also works well under an open overshirt or light jacket too. Additionally, this is the single best neck design of any tshirt I've worn. If you like a slightly high, tight neck opening that never sags or "bacons," then this one is for you. I've worn a couple of these tees regularly for more than a year and the neck opening is still tight and flat. Shrinkage has not been a problem (wash on cool and hang dry). Shoulders, chest, and sleeves are an excellent fit (5'10'', 40 -inch chest, normal build). My only criticism of the tee is that it's much longer than I'd like for my body type. The 29'' medium is approximately 3 inches longer than I'd like it to be and I'm unable to wear it untucked because my proportions look off. I can't go with a size small because then it would be much too tight in the chest and shoulders. Ultimately, I always tuck the size medium in and am not overly bothered styling it that way. Would prefer an option that features a shorter hem length but retains everything else about this tee. Overall, I've purchased several of these tees and will continue to do so as long as they don't change anything (besides the length) about them.

Best tees I’ve owned and keep growing the collection. I am very particular about fit. 6’2 180lbs and am typically between a L and XL but L is the perfect fit in these. Not too loose but not tight at all. Will continue to buy!

Consistently good

Have a whole collection and they consistently fit right, soft, don't fade, and don't get out of shape. Only drawback is when I take them traveling I usually want to iron them where some of my thinner shirts don't keep the fold lines as much. But looks premium, great colors, feels great
