I bought a pair of these scissors several years ago anticipating they would wear or self destruct as many products do. Nope. To be honest I don't know why I ordered this pair other than the great price. They're great scissors. Sharp, easy to use, easy to clean, the spring makes the constant snip snip snip so easy on the fingers. An excellent product
