Poor Man's Downrigger 1/pk

I purchased the poor man's downrigger #4 60 feet. Super excited to use it. When I went to use it this weekend after purchasing it for the first time, threw it in the water and the planer came off the mono. After inspecting the line, it looks like it was never crimped. I did receive it fast. Packaging was good. But the downfall was definitely was not crimped all the way, so the line let loose on the planer. as soon as it hit the water.

Everything came out good! Can’t wait to try it.
