When I first gave this item a smell test it was on paper and I wasn't too impressed but after trying it out on my skin it came to life. On paper it reminded me of a rose scented potpourri but on my skin the amber and floral notes had more depth. By the end of the day I smelled spicy, woody with a hint of vanilla.
