I have coached girls lax for 10 years and also have strung multiple girls lax sticks with custom stringing. The out of the box stringing of the STX Crux Pro with Lock Pocket is excellent and really holds up over time and through different weather conditions. My high schooler has been using this head with original stringing for 1.5 years and just snapped a shaft, but the head is still perfect. It does not bag out and has not worn or frayed
