I like the notch that allows the shield to be pushed back for a more secure fit. I wish it was a bit wider so that when snuggly fit around the velcro would engage fully, not partially.

The shield is well made and fits my Nexstar 8SE perfectly. The Velcro is very strong and is wide enough to get a snug fit on the OTA.
