The straps are wonderful! I have one pair for an 8” Orion Dobsonian and another pair for a 12” Apertura Dobsonian. Then I wanted another pair to fit around the 12” Apertura case with the OTA inside. Farpoint made a custom fit for me!!! The quality is first rate. However, the turnaround time was abysmal. It took a couple of months of constant calls to finally get the product.

Great straps - very expensive shipping

These lifting straps are extremely helpful when lifting my Apertura 12 inch solid tube dobsonian. The straps are very well made from high-quality material. I really appreciate that they surround the ota horizontally versus a vertical strap as it allows your arms to be in a more natural position for lifting. Unfortunately I was overcharged for the shipping. I added a second item that boosted the cost of the shipping from $15 to $24. When the second item was cancelled, I was only refunded the cost of the item and not the tax or shipping. I love the lifting straps but it's unfortunate I did not receive a full refund for the second item I purchased. I emailed with my concerns but have not been contacted.
