My New K-Grind 2.0 Wedges
Purchased my new wedges during the off season here in the frozen Canadian north. So, I was itching to get out once the courses opened. Was able to hit off of driving range mats a few times before actually using them on a real golf course.
The first thing I noticed was the weight. These are not your average wedges. They have gravity!
The balls go where you point your clubs to send them. It took a few swings to find the balance, but that was determined rather quickly. A number of buckets reveled the brilliance of the craftsmanship of these wedges. I have never hit the ball closer to the targets at the range with this much consistency.
The day on the links was a shaking off of the rust, playing in gusting winds made the club selections tricky.
But!!! My wedge play was even noticed by my playing partner. I had a number of one-puts from within 3-4 feet because my wedge play was so good.
Good to be lucky - Lucky to be good!?
These K-Grind gave me confidence around the greens like I have never had. I am REALLY looking forward to enjoying them on spring and summer course conditions to really test their performance.
Thank you, Miura, for bringing a bounce back to my step and a more controlled bounce on the greens!
