Worth it!
I've purchased several versions of these watchbands over the years. Have ALWAYS swapped out the original for one of these.
I've never had an issue..failure, fault, and/or complaint. In fact, I have had more positive comments than I can count.

Great quality and finish. However the strap is super thick and may be difficult to run under standard spring bars.
