Disappointed

I like the design but as a woodworker, I have severe doubts as to the claim that this is wood. Based on smell and texture I am highly convinced it is plastic with a pattern. I was skeptical to begin with due to the price, but I am still disappointed.

It doesn't look like wood. I can see what looks like print lines in the curves. It's so dark that you can't see any of the detail of the image unless it's a very well lit area. It's not bright like the image that's shown at all. They sent a replacement, but unfortunately it was just as dark as the first one. Apparently the stain is darker than what is shown and that's it. The case won't have that red hue and visible detail.
