Table Top Stitching Pony- Natural Wood

So far I really like it. Definitely make’s stitching so much more enjoyable for me. It could be a little longer for larger pieces. Minor issue really. Thanks

Favorite stitching pony. Wanted another one for friends.

This piece of wood is a piece of art and its on my desk waiting for me to glue two pieces of leather onto it and start using. But, last thing I want to do is sand up the surface and glue something to it. Naw, I want to get some cherry stain for it and put it on a shelf as art:) This pony is smaller than I had pictured in my head but its a great size and I'm glad its not bigger like I had thought. This would easily toss into a backpack and tag along to a coffee shop. The clamping mechanism is as smooth as the wood itself. And the jaws actually line up perfectly because the woodworker knows what they are doing. I have had no problem clamping the pony to any work surface in my apartment. I am VERY glad that I finally bought a pony after years of handstitching and am glad that this was the one I finally got. Great price, superior workmanship, and Makers Supply got it out the door and to me pronto. For some reason, the other leather supply stores I have ordered from take quite a while just to get the order out the door.
