Fantastic MonoPod - Gives me Pleasure to Say So

My new MPQ-404C MonPod is simply fantastic. Big, thick, substantial and solid, pleasing to handle, but not overly heavy. It extends and extracts smothly, quickly with little effort. I'm practicing with it on my upstairs balcony in prearation for taking it, and no tripod, on an upcoming 68 day trip. I'm also practicing using it as a beast of a walking stick going up and down the stairway in my house. I covered the top section with removable vinyl sheet, from the arts and crafts store, to protect against bumps and dings, and then attached a single Leofoto QDC-40 clasp such that I can carry it, with camera and lens attached, over my shoulder with a Leofoto SP-01 strap cliped on. Five out of five - no doubt.

Great Light and Rigid Monopod

A light no flex solid monopod. Surprised how quickly I can adjust the height on the go. Only thing to pick on is the length of the foam grip is a bit short. It just misses my shoulder when carrying my large lens over the shoulder. Adding a sleeve would increase the diameter too much for a comfortable grip. Another 2 inches in length would have made this perfect.
