After ordering my first open top tank I noticed an immediate need for a screen. I saw a few DIY's on Amazon, ordered a few sets and hated the look and feel. I researched a little and found Tyler and Top Lids and my thoughts changed instantly. Tyler not only called me and walked me through the process and timeframe but puts you in touch with his lead architect on getting the lid perfect. After a few back and forth emails we had an approved design and it was sent off to be built. 2 cutouts for XR15 mounts, large feed open center front and 2 wire cutouts in the back corners, thanks for the recommendation on those Tyler!! I also got the clear lexan cover to reduce condensation. I received the cover and lid a few weeks later, the box was a tad beat up from the cover sliding but no damage, dam tough! Fits like a glove and no sag on the mesh; I use the mesh to hold my test tubes when filling them up. If you are on the fence about this, rest assured, Tyler and his team will take care of you and fine tune this lid to fit your needs! Heck, even the wife approves and call it "cool" so that is worth something.
