Beautiful Flowers, Average Peas
These were definitely the most successful pea crop I've ever grown. I had mistakenly thought they were a summer crop instead of a cool weather crop. They too a while to start producing peas, but the flowers were beautiful and the peas did occasionally have the blushing or even pinkish-red splotches on the pods. The downside for me was that they weren't very sweet like I was hoping. The kids still enjoyed eating them, but my search for the perfect sweet pea continues, at least now I know when to grow them! They succumbed to some sort of mold or fungus and a tiny brown pest at the end of their production, but in our Arkansas heat and humidity is hard on certain varieties.

Tried, Smiled, and making this a Staole
I lost my first batch from winds. Happy to get more seeds, there was so much anticipation for these peas. As the arrived during heat I was happy to get a tasty pea here and there. Then the heat intensified and my plants withered. So, round one broughtthe desire to master growing these. Looking forward to my next planting season.

Great Germination, the plants are tall and flowering, very pretty. No snap peas yet. So looking forward to them. There looks to be many forming.
