Comfortable sun hoodie, minimal UPF, not helmet compatible

The fabric is light and comfortable and the fit is great through the torso and sleeves. For a sun hoodie, the UPF is pretty low at only 20 UPF. So you will definitely need to be more vigilant about sunscreen under the hoodie and reapplying it compared to others on the market. The hoodie is not helmet compatible. It will only fit over your head under the hood. I prefer a hoodie that can go over the helmet, especially as a woman who has long hair. When the hood has to go under the hoodie, it makes it impossible to pull my pony tail through the helmet's harness (I have a C.A.M.P. ponytail compatible helmet), and is uncomfortable compressing my long hair and hair tie against the back of my head.

Ultimate summer hoodie!

I am so happy with my sun hoodie! It protects from the sun, it is super light and packable, and doesn’t have that stinky sweat reaction like so many synthetic layers do. I took mine out during a heat wave of 95-99 F in Boulder all week. It kept me from burning while staying breathable and cool. I wore the same piece all week, still no smell. Sizing and hood will allow layering under and over, and it covers the neck well. I’m very happy with mine!

Great shirt for running

I bought this sunshirt for a trail race which would have me exposed for a few miles in the summer sun and heat. I submitted my order, but they no longer had inventory in that size/color. This was communicated to me promptly and although I didn’t respond to their email (because who expects actual communication from online retailers these days?) they were able to process my order very quickly so that I received it before my event. Turns out it was a cold night on the trails instead of the hot sun. Shirt kept me comfortable during the night as well. Looking forward to trying it out in other conditions. Maybe getting some other colors too.
