Great product with great support. After letting the bags sit for a month waiting for any rain in the forecast, I gave up and broadcast the seed on 20ac of recently grazed pasture. I then did a light disc and drag to cover the seed.I received an inch of rain 2 weeks later and the seeds were up and growing the next week.

Good performance for Pacific Northwest cover crop

I sowed Cool Season Soil Builder from mid-September to late October in zone 8b and was pleased with the fast germination of oats and barley which was quickly followed by vetch and radish. Mid-October sowings sprouted by Oct 31 and I'm going to tempt fate by doing one more sowing during the first weekend of November. I'm a little skeptical that the sunflower seed will survive a typical wet PNW winter but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised next spring.
