A Chef's Knife Built for Hunters and Pro Chefs.
When we launched MKC, we started with the Blackfoot blade because we wanted a great, all-purpose knife. We took the same approach with our culinary knives. The foundation of every great kitchen is a favorite chef’s knife, so we created the Bighorn, an 8- inch chef’s knife that can handle ev

A knife for my wife. . .that I love . . . (My wife too!)
A few months ago, I wanted a new EDC knife and purchased the Speedgoat 2.0, orange and black. It is lite, balanced and sharp!
It was then that I found my favorite knife and knife maker. . .unwrapping the blade from box, un-tieing the carefully wrapped knife, the card with triple signatures to tell me this was not some assembly line purchase.
Well, that caused me to realize my wife "needed" a new kitchen knife. . .My wife certainly was surprised when she opened the Bighorn Chef on X-Mas morning.
Needless to say it was first used on the Christmas Turkey, slicing it with the precision of a surgeon's scalpel. I think I yielded more meat and less waste, to easily justify the purchase!
While I want to complete the set, Valentines Day is next up, and nothing says, "I love you honey" , like the The Smith River Santoku, and Happy Anniversary with the Little Bighorn Petty. . .my wife should soon have the set!
These knives are the best. . .oh, and in case someone try to attack me to steal my MKC bounty, I purchased the Wargoat just incase!
Thanks MKC, you have made my life better, and my wife thanks you too! (At least I am pretty sure she does!)
