Philodendron Billietiae

My billietiae looks as though it was grown in a very small space, it has leaves pointing every which way. I phoned happy houseplants to let them know and to discuss possible care for this plant (which seems to at the very least need a repot) but I had no reply to the message I left. I would not buy again from this seller.

Best aspects of this purchase were speed & quality of delivery, and great protective packaging. The plant however is another story. Contrary to seller’s assurance that “the photo and the size in the description are accurate representations of the plant you will receive” in response to my request for a photo of what would actually be sent vs the marketing / product photo, the plant I received bears little resemblance to image featured on their website. Whereas the growth pattern of the marketing image is of straight, upright stems / petioles with downward-sloping leaves (which mirrors every other photo I’ve seen while researching this plant), the stems of the plant received today are a tangled mess, curling every which way - with leaves in a similar state (eg. horizontal, inverted, etc). And the largest leaf is misshapen - either from damage while it was forming, or poor care / watering while growing.
