They are wonderful cotton. I wear them all year round, even though I live in the land of 5-month winters. This is my third pair. I'm disappointed in the small gingham pattern, it feels boring. And the 'capri' length is a couple of inches longer than my older sets. Also the fit - the bottom circumference of the top is much less than that of the bottoms and slightly less than the circumference of my hips where they meet. So my top always gapes at the bottom. Couldn't you flare the top a bit? My hips aren't that big- the bottoms are quite roomy. My final picky point is that my first pair from many years ago are still going strong except the elastic waist where the cotton is shredding. Maybe that's the price of wearing such fabulous cotton; my percale sheets wear out too. I also love that some people think I'm wearing a sumer outfit, not pj's!
