I am 5’3” and athletic curvy build. I have been considering this dress for a while and just struggled with could it really work for my age, 60 yr old, and body type. The online stylist was helpful. She recommended a L but I sized up to make sure it was not to snug in the chest . My husband never seems to say much but definitely noticed and complimented the dress. I think true to size could have worked too, but wanted wiggle room. This dress hugs in all the right places. I ordered another. No regrets!

This dress is absolutely perfect. The fit is on point - the medium is fitted but not too tight and the length is just above my ankle and the slit comes to about mid thigh. The fabric feels cool, but is substantial enough that it doesn’t show everything underneath. Does stretch out with wear and washes beautifully. I will reach for this so often!!
