Without a doubt my favorite watch. This watch has a beautiful movement and design! Makes you stand out from the rest with the lovely touches of orange throughout.

Simply Lovely!

Yes, this is Max Verstappen's catch phrase, but just like Max this watch is a champion! This may get a little long, bear with me. I started collecting in April of 2025. As time went on and I learned more about watches, manufacturers and the culture I started looking for a piece that wouldn't be recognizable like my Omegas, Tudors, Rolex's, etc. My criteria was simple, a high quality watch that was built with passion. I came across Oak and Oscar while doing some reading of an Article from Teddy Baldassarre. I spent almost 9 months researching every single independent on Teddy's list before I chose O&O. I had the Humboldt GMT near the top of my list from the beginning. Let me be crystal clear, I could not be more impressed. From the email at 10PM on a Friday night from Chase thanking me for the purchase, to the subtle yet thoughtfully curated presentation kit to the simple, modern and clean dial, just perfect. I don't care if this is your first "real" watch purchase, or you have AP's & Patek's in your collection, I am highly confident that you will enjoy this watch. GMT + 2 Life

After almost 3 years of indecision, I finally pulled the trigger on the blue dial Humboldt GMT. Suffice to say, I should have made this purchase long ago. It’s a truly great watch. The dial is simple in the best way, lume could be a bit brighter but that is nitpicking. It dresses up and down with ease. Micro adjust on the bracelet is easy and intuitive, a nice touch. Oak and Oscar doesn’t quote accuracy on movements (presumably from contract requirements with supplier) but in a month’s use, I’ve found it well within COSC standards. Very impressive. Received many compliments so far and proud to say I’m wearing a watch from the U.S. I also did a custom engraving and the process was a bit drawn out, but the end product was definitely well worth the wait. Greg and Chase are professionals and clearly proud of the watches produced. Customer service was excellent. Overseas now, but next time I’m in Chicagoland, I plan on stopping in for introductions and raising a toast to the Humboldt. Prost from Limburg!
