RLH739 - Leather Micro Mini Skort

SOOO GOOD - SIZE DOWN?

This skirt is EXPENSIVE, so let's be clear, first and foremost, that my hopes were high. I only have two critiques: 1) There are shorts sewn in, and I don't mind this, but the material feels cheap in comparison to the beautiful brown leather. The shorts have a spandex feel to them. Just not my favorite. 2) It's larger in the waist and hips than most size S skirts that I buy here. According to this brand, I am a size S (as a 5'8, 115lbs bean pole... Right). Anyways, this skirt fits more like an S/M if you follow the brand's size chart. I won't exchange for an XS because leather doesn't stretch. It's low rise on me, so I always have to hike it up, but then it looks so cute. It's too long on me when it's resting lower, and that's lame, but I expect MINI when I hear "mini" from this brand. SUMMARY: • amazing leather and suede lining • flimsy-ish shorts • fantastic brown shade • nice seams, sturdy zipper • runs slightly big IMO • not that "mini" for those with small butts or shorter heights • curvy butt/hips friendly

I normally wear a size xs in stretchy skirts/skorts, and I ordered this in a small. It wouldn't fit over my hips/butt so I couldn't even try to zip it up around my waist. I returned and ordered a medium and it fits me perfectly. I do have a thick butt though, if you're skinnier you may not have this problem. It is an absolutely gorgeous skirt and I felt many eyes on me when I wore it.
