Great Quality and very Strong

I purchased this Unibar to mount some Striker LED spotlights on the front of a Subaru Outback. Although this numberplate style bracket is much more expensive than other options on eBay, the quality is also much better. The alloy construction is thicker than the other options which means less vibration and flex when driving over rough roads. It seems quite secure when holding around 2kg with just two screws into the bumper and two large washers although I will consider adding another two if I travel on corrugated gravel roads (these are just specific issues related to the car, not the unibar). My only criticism would be related to the number plate blocks, which come with number plate mounting screws that are too large for the holes in the blocks. This is not a big deal though as you can simply buy smaller screws to fit your number plate. I would also recommend some sort of backing to support the number plate incase it bends in the middle. What sold it to me in the end was seeing some police cars in my area with a very similar or the same bar setup on the front to mount their red and blue flashers, so if it’s good enough for them then it’s probably good enough for me too. In general, this is a very high quality, strong and well built mount for your driving lights, you get what you pay for.
