Striker Halogen Handhelds

A really great tool!

I like these spotlights so much that I now own three of them. In May I failed to pack one of them properly, and due to rough roads (over 1,000 km of dirt roads) , the clear front lens was scratched, which reduces light transmission. (my fault), so I have recently purchased another one (my third). I really like this size spotlight, it is compact enough to pack away, light weight to allow use for five or six hours in a night without becoming fatigued and large enough to provide a concentrated beam. I've tried HID lights, but they really do not suit my application - they are slow to warm up, and cast a green shade of light. In western Queensland, particularly on black soil, once the dust is stirred up, the greenish light just gets obscured by the dust. I have been spotlighting for various ferals for over 60 years, and these 170mm Striker Halogen Handhelds work for me! I would not use any other brand!

Clear adjustable light

Came ready for work, just hooked it up to my spare battery and I was in business. Light and easily adaptable from flood to tight beam with long range. All I need.
